A Fashion Moment to Remember
Fashion brings people together in the most unexpected ways, and modeling for my fellow SCAD grad, @e.shatia_, was one of those pinch-me moments. When she asked me to wear one of her stunning denim designs, I was all in. Fast forward, and her collection didn’t just become her senior thesis—it landed in Neiman Marcus at Lenox Mall! No big deal, right?
The Art of Denim
Her collection was next-level, mixing bold silhouettes with insane denim craftsmanship. I swear, slipping into those pieces felt like stepping into wearable art. The shoot, captured by the ultra-talented @enaiyah, was nothing short of magic—every frame oozed style, edge, and that undeniable “wow” factor. Oh, and let’s not forget our hypeman, bringing the energy and good vibes (essential, obviously).
Award-Winning Success
But here’s the kicker—@e.shatia_’s designs weren’t just good; they were award-winning. Her work was displayed for a whole week at Neiman Marcus Atlanta as part of the prestigious @NBAF competition. Talk about a full-circle moment! Seeing a friend’s talent recognized on such a big stage? Chef’s kiss. And as if that wasn’t enough, her collection also scored a sponsorship with ISKO Denim—major, major win.
A Designer to Watch
A SCAD alum with a degree in Fashion Design, @e.shatia_ has truly mastered the art of denim. Over the past few quarters, she’s developed an obsession (the good kind) with the fabric, pushing its creative limits in every piece she makes.
