I hope everyone is staying at home and safe during this time. It appears Georgia’s governor has announced the shelter in place order will expire at the end of the month and businesses can reopen. Its a risky move to lift this so soon with cases of COVID-19 rising in other areas of the US and risky in the sense that if we continue like this it will hurt the economy. Im assuming it will be quite some time still before music festivals and concerts are considered. Luckily I do have some good news. There is a full weekend ahead of Room Service for our musical/festival fashion palettes to kick off this rave at home series!
Rave at Home/ Live-streams:
This Digital music festival Room Service starts up April 24-26, with performances by Yungblud, Channel Tres, Pink Sweat$, Chromeo, Zeds Dead, Borgore, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Gallant, Griz, Mt. Joy, Trevor Daniel, RAC, Jeremy Zucker, Shallou & more (full lineup here). Proceeds from the event will go directly to COVID-19 relief efforts, including Sweet Relief and Feeding America.
I love how the music community has been so united and strong throughout this whole pandemic. Entertaining the world while simultaneously trying to help support in relief efforts. Although nothing can replace a concert or live festival experience, these digital raves have been such a blessing.
