Luxury is being comfortable in your own skin and able to move at your own pace.

FOG Essentials/How I Style:

Keeping it comfy in my Spanx motto leggings and Fear of God @essentials hoodie on these chilly fall days. I truly admire Fear of God because of the authentic message behind why @jerrylorenzo started it. Although FOG is a luxury streetwear price point, the Essentials branch is an amazing extension with a more affordable price point for the masses. This is an incredible way for everyone to connect into that FOG culture.

About the Brand:

His mixture of grunge styles, high end fabrics, minimalism, and a message of spirituality is something I truly admire. Our culture is shifting and Lorenzo wishes for his clothing to be a functional and comfortable part in our lives. Wilkerson Jr. stated:

“The message is that everyone should be okay to be who they are, and to uniquely walk out to be who God called them to be.”

Connection:

Knowing who you are in this world and where you fit in is a challenge that everyone will face. My personal journey trying to forge a path in the fashion industry has been one of the biggest challenges that I work towards daily. All journeys are different and we all bloom at different rates. We all need to learn how to love ourselves and have faith in the process.

The one constant I can turn to in my life when I am unsure if I’m working towards fulfilling my calling is God. I know in my heart I was born for a bigger purpose to help people and getting help from a higher power is the only way I know I can make it happen.

Thank you Jerry Lorenzo for being such an inspiring God fearing man and inspiring this culture through fashion design. What do you guys think of his line? Please like, comment down below, and don’t forget to subscribe! XOXO
