About the Brand:
COMME des GARÇONS Play high top Converse are in my top 5 shoes I wear repeatedly! I absolutely love both of these brands separately and now together. COMME des GARÇONS, meaning “like boys” in French, is a Japanese fashion label founded by Rei Kawakubo. Well known for its avant garde aesthetic and extremely unconventional silhouettes.
Design Details:
The COMME des GARÇONS Play collaboration is one of my favorites that has happened to date with the Converse brand. This particular high top style is noticeably well crafted with thicker rubber making this sneaker even more durable. They have also created a beautiful logo placement on each side of the shoe from both brands.
How to Style:
I love the high top style as it makes my legs look long and lean. However, they do carry these shoes in both high and low and in a variety of colors and some patterns as well. This sneaker is a versatile styling piece to pair with skirts, sweats, overalls, biker shorts, and many other looks.
Sizing:
The sizing of this particular style is a little tricky because they don’t carry many half sizes however, I sized down half a size from my normal 8.5 to an 8 and they fit perfectly!
