F/W 20 Boot Trends:
Black chunky boots are almost never a bad choice. Such a staple shoe with great versatility and they are one of the biggest boot trends for Fall/Winter 2020. More specifically, chunky combat and chelsea boots have been all over the F/W 20 runways. They are now flooding retailers from high end to low. Not only are these boot styles fashion-forward, but they are also very comfortable. Finished with platforms or thick lug soles, these shoes can elevate any look!
Combat/Chelsea Boot Trend:
As someone who has been wearing Doc Marten combat boots for as long as I can remember, I was thrilled to see this chunky combat boot trend emerge yet again! Combat boots are such a functional shoe usually worn in military and work environments. However, Chelsea boots have typically held a more professional effortless vibe that has recently evolved into these funkier platform styles. Currently we have seen these tough boots back on the runways in shiny patent leather materials paired with masculine pant suits and delicate feminine dresses.
How to Style:
With all these chunky boots flooding retailers, both high and low, I knew I needed to snag a couple new pairs for the season. I picked up a fun twist on a faux leather Chelsea boot from Public Desire and was gifted my new favorite Prada combat boots.
