The Road to the Grand Canyon
After wrapping up our epic adventures in Joshua Tree, it was time for part two: The Grand Canyon. We packed up, hit the road, and settled in for a long, scenic drive through the desert. The excitement was real, but so was the exhaustion—so first things first, we needed sleep.
Glamping Goals: The Yurt Experience

We arrived at our yurt, and let me tell you—it was not your typical roughing-it kind of stay. Think cozy beds, a firewood stove, and the perfect amount of wilderness charm. It felt like something straight out of a Pinterest board. If camping is not your thing but you still want that nature vibe, a yurt is the way to go.
Grand Canyon Hiking & South Rim Sunset

SHOP MY LOOK
The next morning, we geared up for a day of hiking through Grand Canyon National Park. Fresh air, epic views, and that overwhelming feeling of just how small we really are—it was everything.
After hiking, we drove to the South Rim to catch the sunset, and let me just say, no filter could ever do it justice. Watching the sky turn shades of pink and gold over the canyon was one of those moments that just sticks with you.
ATV Adventures: Riding Dirty in the Canyon

The next day, we decided to switch things up and get a little dusty—literally. We rented ATVs and tore through the rugged terrain, taking in the sights without having to hike (win-win). If you ever do this, just know—you will be covered in dirt from head to toe. But hey, that’s part of the fun.
Final Stop: Sedona Magic

Before heading home, we made a quick detour to Sedona—because when you’re this close, how can you not? We wandered around town, soaked in the red rock views, and grabbed some last-minute souvenirs before catching our flight back to ATL.
Takeaways from the Trip
This wasn’t just a vacation. It was a reminder.
- Get outside more. There’s something about being in nature that resets everything.
- Try new things. You don’t have to be an expert—just be open to the experience.
- Embrace the unknown. Whether it’s sleeping in a yurt, hiking a new trail, or hopping on an ATV for the first time, the best moments happen when you let go of what’s familiar.
If you’ve been feeling the pull to disconnect, reset, and step outside of routine, this is your sign to go!
